GANGTOK, 24 Sept: Suldung-Kamling block office of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha under Rinchenpong constituency was inaugurated by West district coordinator of the party, Birendra Tamling at a party supporter Bijay Golay’s house at Reshi Bazaar in West Sikkim today.
In a press release, SKM publicity secretary, Ugen Namgyal Bhutia informs that following the inauguration, a meeting was also held at JB Rai’ house. Various speakers in the meeting spoke on the policies, principles and programmes of the party.
It is informed that the meeting also discussed the resignation of former MLA, PS Tamang [Golay] from the ruling party and his subsequent disqualification from the Sikkim Legislative Assembly and passed a proposal welcoming the same.
The meeting also welcomed news of Mr. Tamang taking over the command of SKM party on 06 October. It is informed that the meeting also constituted a block level committee for Suldung-Kamling.
