Kitam-Manpur GPU completes first set of 2 CMRHM houses

NAMCHI, 17 Jan: The newly created Kitam-Manpur GPU under Melli Constituency got its first two houses under the Chief Minister’s Rural Housing Mission inaugurated today. Area MLA, Tulsi Devi Rai inaugurated and handed over the newly constructed houses to Krishna Bdr. Chettri and Ganga Pd. Pradhan of Lower Kitam ward.
As per a press release, the MLA congratulated the beneficiaries and also appreciated the design of the house of beneficiary, Krishna Bdr. Chettri who had put in his own efforts to give the house an attractive look.
The two beneficiaries extended their gratitude to the Chief Minister for the initiative and Area MLA Ms Rai, Ex-Panchayat Bhagimaya Pradhan and SDF party workers for addressing their basic need and enhancing their living standard at par with others. They also committed continuous support to the SDF Government, the release mentions.
Ward Panchayat and the President of The GPU, Savitri Chettri, Vice president, Chandramani Bhujel, Secretary, Sashikala Tamang, members Bishnu Maya Dhamala & Meera Pradhan, Ex-ward Panchayat, Bhagimaya Pradhan, SDF CEC members KB Pradhan and Santosh Pradhan, BLC president, DB Pradhan, Secretary of Lakshya Organisation, Roshan Kaushik and CK Rai of Munal Club also attended the function and congratulated the beneficiaries.
Construction of 10 more houses in the newly created GPU is underway, the release informs.
