GANGTOK, 08 Oct: The State Election Commission has notified the time period within which the upcoming Panchayat Elections are to be held in the rural areas of the state.
As per the State Election Commission, the hours fixed for the polls are from 8 AM to 4 PM at all the panchayat wards of gram panchayats and the Territorial Constituencies of Zilla Panchayats. The date of polling, as earlier reported, is 03 November, 2012.
