GANGTOK, 19 Oct: The state government has sanctioned the creation of 14 posts in the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Institute for the Handicapped located at Boomtar, Namchi. This institute is under the supervision of the Social Justice Department.
It is informed that this sanction has been made with the concurrence of Finance, Revenue and Expenditure Department and Development Planning, Economics Reforms and North Eastern Council Affairs Department.
Among the created posts are that of In-charge, 5 posts of special teachers, two school mothers, a UDC, hostel superintendent, peon, cook, safai-karamchari and night guard.
