GANGTOK, 15 Feb: A 26-year-old man was found dead behind the Sainik Board building at Namchi at around 6 AM on Tuesday. The deceased was a resident of Sichey in Gangtok and was presently working as a Junior Engineer in the Block Administration Centre in Soreng.
Police investigations revealed that the deceased was in Namchi for some personal work where he reportedly fell from a height of around 35 feet at the DAC Road near Sainik Board and succumbed to his injuries.
It is informed that the deceased was in an inebriated state according to a friend with whom he had talked a few moments prior to his death.
