GANGTOK, 20 Feb: Fifteen bands from Sikkim and the neighboring hills including one from Shillong have signed up for the ‘Rock on Beat’ contest being organized at Saramsa as part of the Sikkim Snow and Cultural Fest. The contest is scheduled to be held on 24 February from 10 AM onwards.
The participating bands are Eyestill, Immortal Flames, Black Tooth Grin, Invention 13, [Gangtok], Death Squad and Grove Souls [Namchi], 2 Point Four Three and After Glow [Darjeeling], Civilian Dust [Kurseong], Ground Zero, Solitary Souls, Method 29, Prophetic Angels [Kalimpong], If Hope Dies [Siliguri], and Dosser’s Urge from Shillong, informs a press release.
The event is being organized by STAR and the winners of the contest will get a cash prize of Rs 50,000, the release adds.
