Village and ward level Badminton tourney semi finals held at Singtam

SINGTAM, 13 Jan: The semifinal matches of the ward and village level Men’s and Women’s Badminton Tournament were played here at Singtam on Friday.
In the ward-level, Raj Rai defeated Shekhar Chettri in the men’s semi-final, while Rabita Rai beat Pavitra Rai in the women’s semi-final. Likewise, at the village level Karsang Sherpa entered the men’s finals by defeating Pravesh Chettri in the semi-final match and Krishna Rai lost to Jayanti Chettri in the women’s semi-final.
All final matches of the tournament, which is being organized by Bardang based organization, Divya Jyoti Samiti will be played on 15 January.
