GANGTOK, 13 Jan: The Governor of Sikkim, BP Singh, has extended warm greetings to the people of Sikkim on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti.
His message, conveyed by the PRO to the Governor, reads: “Maghe Sankranti heralds a new beginning of nourishment, hope and progress. I sincerely hope that the festival brings an end to all the adversities and ushers in prosperity to the people of Sikkim”.
Chief Minister Pawan Chamling and his wife, Tikamaya Chamling, have also extended their warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Sikkim on the occasion. In his greeting, the Chief Minister wishes continued peace, prosperity and happiness to the people of Sikkim.
