Sikkim boys down J&K 2-0
GANGTOK, 20 Jan: Sikkim’s Junior Boys Football team emerged victorious in the preliminary round of the 48th Junior National Football Championship for the Dr. B.C. Roy Memorial Trophy 2012 defeating Jammu & Kashmir 2-0, informs an SFA press release.
In the match played on 19 Jan, Chandra Tamang and Ram Chhetri scored one goal each for the state. Sikkim will now play against Chhatisgarh on 21 Jan in the second round of the Championship underway at Cuttack, Orissa.
