GANGTOK, 18 Jan: A strong tremor that lasted just a few seconds was felt in the capital this evening at around 7:43 PM. The tremor was also felt by people in North Sikkim, it is learnt.
As per the India Meteorological Department website, the slight intensity earthquake of 3.4 Richter scale had its epicenter at Lat. 27.3°N Long. 88.5°E.
