GANGTOK, 04 Dec: Forty trainees from across the state had undergone nine months Beautician/Spa training at the State Institute of Capacity Building [SICB], Karfectar under the supervision of trained Master Trainer and Assistant Trainers with specialization in diversified sectors of this course.
A press release informs that out of these forty trainees, nineteen have received placements with Core Wellness Ltd, Mumbai, as Trainee Therapists.
They will be entitled for a stipend of Rs 4,500 per month during their on-job-training of three months. Once they complete their training they will be paid a monthly remuneration of Rs. 8,370 and provided free accommodation on share basis by the organisation.
Similarly, eleven trainees were placed at Aveda Spa & Wellness Private Limited, Madhya Pradesh, as Beauticians, the release informs. They will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 6,000 to begin with along with free accommodation and their salary will be enhanced as per their performance.
A pre-counseling session was conducted by Chief Administrator, SD Dhakal before the candidates left to take up their placements.
