GANGTOK, 08 Dec: Continuing his East Sikkim tour, the disgruntled SDF MLA from Upper Burtuk, PS Tamang [Golay], met and interacted with the people of Machong under Gnathang-Machong constituency and at Mamring, Phadamchey and Bhasmey under Rhenock constituency today.
A press release issued by Jacob Khaling informs that at the residence of Dawa Dolma Bhutia at Machong, Mr Tamang met with around 300 people. There, the people expressed problems faced by students, farmers and the local people as the road in the area has not been carpeted so far, the release mentions.
Mr Tamang has taken note of all problems expressed by the people, the release mentions, adding further that he also gave a patient hearing to the problems placed by the people at Mamring, Phadamchey, Bhasmey and its surrounding areas.
i don't know why in every report that NOW makes about the activities of Golay..they call him 'disgruntled' ...while not going into the politics of NOW that makes such a reference to Golay necessary..
