GANGTOK, 04 Nov: While the duo Remanti and Robin from Sikkim are making strenuous efforts to impress the judges in North East Superstar, the public of Singtam are disappointed at the idea of Singtam not taking any interest to support them.
Inspite of Singtam Basibiyalo’s appeal to the public to come forward and vote for Remanti and Robin, not a single organization or association has taken any initiative to set up voting booths in and around Singtam.
Some express that it is sad to see people not showing the same enthusiasm as was shown during the time of supporting artists from outside the state.
However, senior citizens view the present scenario as due to the post-earthquake situation of the state where the people have not fully recovered from the setback.
However, there are those handful of people who have rather preferred not to depend on the voting booths but to carry on their support with what they can contribute through their personal mobiles.
