GANGTOK, 31 Oct: An emergency meeting of National Sikkimese Bhutia Organisation was held today to condole the death of the Most Venerable Ajho Bongthing Samdub Taso, informs a press release issued by the organisation.
It states that Ajho Bongthing was reverently also regarded as the present manifestation of the legendary Thekong Mensalong. “The passing away of the late Ajho Bongthing in itself is the end of an era while, it becomes our stressful responsibilities to continue with the practice and belief represented by the late Ajho Bongthing” says the press release.
His service in form of acting as bridge between the Sikkimese people and our Yulha Jibja Khangchen Dzonga is awesome and un-comparable, the release by NASBO states. It also records that Sikkim,the Mahaguru Padmasambhava’s Bayul Dremojong owes much of its spiritual advancement and prosperity to the Late Ajho Bongthing.
