GANGTOK, 24 Oct: A monk of Enchey monastery has reportedly committed suicide. According to reports, the monk, a resident of Sichey here had come to the monastery hostel on 22 October for a night. His suicide was discovered the next morning.
Another suicide has been reported from Pakyong where a 28 year old resident of Kaiyong basti reportedly committed suicide by hanging. The youth was employed with a pharmaceutical company in Ranipool and had left Ranipool more than a week back. His body was discovered in the forest by villagers on 23 October.
