GANGTOK, 06 Sept: A notorious drug peddler was nabbed by the Sadar police today after almost a month of tracking. Navin Chettri, alias ‘Parsad’, was picked up by Sadar thana personnel from Gandhey Jhora on Indira Byepass here this afternoon at around 2:30 pm.
From his possession were recovered 455 capsules of Spasmo-Proxyvon.
‘Parsad’ is alleged to be a “wholesale drug peddler” and believed to be selling these substances to mostly students and drivers.
The police had been on his trail for about a month now and had deployed sources to nab him. Today, they received concrete information that Parsad was peddling “SP” at Gandhey Jhora and he was finally caught red handed. Parsad has been booked under Sikkim Anti-Drugs Act.
