GANGTOK, 01 July: A 19-year-old committed suicide by hanging in his house at Bhanugram in Diesel Power House area yesterday.
On 30 June, the deceased’s father found the main door of the house locked from inside and when he peeped in, he found his son hanging inside.
After breaking open the door, the deceased was brought to STNM Hospital but was declared brought dead.
It was informed that the deceased had earlier attempted to commit suicide in the year 2009.
